Eye of HorusAncient Egyptian symbol of good health, protection and royal power. The Eye of Horus is also known as the Wadjet. Wadjet was one of the earliest Egyptian gods. The name is derived from wadj, meaning green, so Wadjet is known as the green one. Eye of Horus funerary amulets were often buried with pharaohs to ward of evil and protect them in the afterlife. Ancient Egyptian sailors would also paint the symbol on their vessels to ensure safe travel while at sea. |
IndochiniteIndochinites are the youngest tektites on the planet having occurred about 800,000 years ago. Tektites are believed to be created by a meteor that impacts with enough velocity that it vaporizes it's self and surrounding materials. These vapors are ejected back into the upper atmosphere where they solidify and rain back down as solids. In antiquity they were known as Fire Pearls. Indochinites can provide encouragement to one to gather knowledge throughout the travels of life. It has been held in high esteem in the Orient as a talisman of great power. Polynesian tribal elders believed that tektites would bring wealth and fertility in all endeavours. |
